Adam Usden



Nick Quinn

Adam was a member of the Royal Court Studio Group from September – December 2011 and in the same year he was longlisted for BBC Radio’s Alfred Bradley Bursary Award. In 2013 he had a year-long attachment to the Traverse Theatre as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations and his piece Driven was nominated for the Channel 4 Oran Mor Comedy Drama Award.

Work includes:

SANCTUARY FROM THE TRENCHES (National Trust/Dunham Massey) 2014/15
Collaboration with writers affiliated with Royal Exchange Theatre to write a WWI site-specific, promenade piece.

GIANTS OF OLD (SPECIFIQ/Harrow School) 2014
Site-specific promenade play about Churchill, Byron, Nehru, Robert Peel and Terence Rattigan.

THE HAPPIER DEAD (Big Finish Productions) 2014
60min play for Dark Shadows audiobook series

Shortlisted for Theatre 503 Prize 2014.
Shortlisted for Papatango Prize 2014.

STEVE AND THEN IT ENDED (Theatre 503) 2013
The play also had a day-long workshop and rehearsed reading at Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh in February 2012
