Annalisa Dinnella began her career as a producer and director of historical and current affairs documentaries.  Credits include GELDOF ON MARRIAGE for Channel 4 and WORLD WAR ONE IN COLOUR with Kenneth Branagh.  Her first radio play, THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, for BBC Radio 4, was selected as The Radio Times Critic’s Choice and nominated at the 2016 BBC Audio Awards.  She has since been commissioned by Radio 4 to write SICK, another afternoon play, as well as ANNALISA IS AWKWARD, a personal piece of comedy journalism about awkwardness and disability.  Annalisa’s original feature screenplay, GIRL BAND, is optioned by Andy Paterson (THE RAILWAY MAN) and set to star Sheridan Smith.  Annalisa lives in London with her partner, two children and only five percent vision.
