Maggie Bateson is a talented paper engineer who has created many elaborate and beautiful carousel and pop-up books for children. She is best known for her collaborative work with Louise Comfort on the extravagantly intricate My Fairy carousel series, including My Fairy Winter Wonderland and My Fairy Treehouse (Macmillan). Other creations include a pop up version of Angelina Ballerina by Katharine Holabird and Helen Craig (Puffin) and Alan Snow’s How Santa Really Works (Simon & Schuster). She recently worked on Dylan’s Amazing Dinosaurs (Simon & Schuster) and a fifth title in the Jack’s Mega Machines series (Simon & Schuster).
Maggie is currently working on a new pop up book for Simon & Schuster and a project with Bloomsbury.
