Mark Denton and Jonny Stockwood are writing partners whose original 8-part conspiracy thriller, STRANGERS, broadcast in September 2018 for ITV/Amazon, produced by Two Brothers Pictures and starring John Simm, Emilia Fox and Anthony Wong.
They are currently working on several television projects, including an episode of SLOW HORSES for See-Saw Films, based on the book by Mick Herron; true crime story BLOOD ON THE PAGE for West Road Pictures and the BBC; an adaptation of espionage thriller MY NAME IS NOBODY for Carnival Films; and original projects for Eccose Films, Headline Pictures and House Productions.
Their previous credits include working on two series of MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE, created by Frank Spotnitz and produced by Big Light/Lux Vide, and the feature adaptation of iBOY, co-written with Joe Barton, produced by Wigwam Films for Netflix.
Mark and Jonny met at the University of Exeter, where Mark studied politics before embarking on a year’s internship in the House of Commons, and Jonny studied Geography followed by an MA in International Relations.
