Eva Edo is an Award Winning Black British writer of Nigerian and Caribbean decent whose work is coloured by her lived experience as a child protection and family law solicitor together with being a mother. Her play “A MOTHERS COURAGE” won the Royal Society of Literature Matters Award. “LOOKED AFTER CHILDREN” was nominated for The Alfred Fagon Award. Her short film “MATERNAL” won the Lucy Scher Award.

Eva started her career within theatre and has expanded it to TV and film. She’s currently on BBC SCRIPTED, alongside developing projects for TV, film, and theatre.
