Congratulations to Andrew Haigh: 45 YEARS wins Michael Powell award at Edinburgh Film Festival

Awards Film

45 YEARS, written and directed by Andrew Haigh, has won the top prize at Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Michael Powell award for best British feature film, as well as the award for best performance in a British feature film for Charlotte Rampling. The film festival jury called 45 YEARS โ€œa quietly explosive film which represents classic film-making at its best … a measured yet provocative film, a masterclass in understated acting.โ€ This marks the film’s second major win of 2015, after taking two Silver Bears at Berlinale in February.

Congratulations to Andrew and the entire team!

45 YEARS will be released in the UK on the 28th of August.
