At the WGGB Awards for TV Dana Fainaru has been nominated for her CASUALTY episode PLACE OF SAFETY in the Best Continuing Drama category and Jimmy McGovern’s series THE ACCUSED, including Esther Wilson’s episode THE PARDONER’S TALE, has been nominated for Best Television Series. THE ACCUSED is also up for a 2011 International Emmy. Esther has also been placed on the shortlist of the Prix Europa Awards for THE PURSUITS OF DARLEEN FYLES, originally broadcast on BBC R4.Debbie Tucker Green’s Channel 4 drama RANDOM has been scooping up the gongs. It has picked up Best UK Film and Best Actress (for Nadine Marshall) at the 2011 Black International Film Festival / MVSA awards, and was nominated for best editing and best graphics at the 2011 RTS Craft Awards.
