Elizabeth Laird’s book has been shortlisted for the Scottish Children’s Book Awards in the Younger Readers Category.
The Fastest Boy in the World, published by Macmillan in 2014, has already been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and Hull Children’s Library Book Award. The winners of the SCBA will be announced at a ceremony in March next year. You can read more about the book on Scottish Book Trust’s website.
