Scottish children’s entertainment production company Maramedia has acquired the rights to develop a new children’s series based on Michael Bond’s Olga da Polga.
The series will be developed by Maramedia’s children’s unit, Marakids. Jackie Savery, co-founder and creative director of Maramedia, said: “We are thrilled for Marakids to take on this new children’s project to bring Michael Bond’s lively and humorous stories of Olga da Polga to life on the screen.”
The series will follow Olga da Polga, a loveable and imaginative guinea pig, who likes to boast about her wild adventures to her group of animal friends.
