It’s publication day for many of our clients, including Clara Vulliamy, Teresa Heapy and Faye Bird.
The first in the Dotty Detective series by Clara Vulliamy is published by Harper Collins today. It’s a lovely book filled with Clara’s illustrations about Dot and her detecting sidekicks, McClusky and Bean. The second book will follow in July.
What I Couldn’t Tell You is Faye Bird’s second novel and is published by Usborne. For young adults, it follows Tess, a selective mute, as she tries to uncover what happened to her sister who’s in a coma. Dark and incredibly emotional!
Next up is Very Little Sleeping Beauty by Teresa Heapy. The third in her Very Little series, this is a funny bedtime book which will appeal to toddlers and mildly frazzled parents.
The second book in Jan Burchett and Sara Vogler’s Spymaster series is published today by Orion. Set in Tudor England it follows Jack Briars, apprentice to Thomas Cromwell, as he tries to foil a dangerous plot to kill Henry VIII by cracking codes.
Joyce Dunbar’s latest collaboration with her daughter Polly forms part of the Otter-Barry Books launch list. I Will Not Wear Pink is all about Plunkett the pig who refuses to wear pink to Priscilla’s pink-themed party. But will he find a shade he likes?
Helen Stephens’ second book in her How To Hide A Lion series is published today as a gorgeous board book. Her third book will be published in September.
The Princess and the Wizard illustrated by Lydia Monks is also published as a board book today.
And last but not least, Bumpus Jumpus Dinosaurumpus illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees is published with a new jacket!
