We’re delighted to announce Beverley Naidoo, Elizabeth Laird and Malorie Blackman have been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
Elizabeth Laird and Malorie Blackman appear on the UK list, with Beverley Naidoo on the South African list. The Astrid Lindgren Award is the largest award for children’s authors and illustrators in the world and maybe be presented to one or several winners. We’re delighted to have three nominees on the list and look forward to hearing the results over the coming summer.
