Alicia Vikander wins best supporting actress Oscar for THE DANISH GIRL

Congratulations to  Alicia Vikander  and THE DANISH GIRL team for their Oscar win!

Last night at the 88th Academy Awards Alicia won the Oscar for her outstanding pe犀利士
rformance as the artist Gerda Wegener in THE DANISH GIRL, with screenplay by the brilliantly talented Lucinda Coxon. 

The film had four nominations, including best actor and best supporting actress. Adapted by Lucinda Coxon, from the novel by David Ebershoff, the film tells the story of Lili Elbe, the 1920s Danish artist who was one of the first recipients of sexual reassignment surgery. Also starring Eddie Redmayne and directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper.

A huge congratulations to all of our nominees this year, in what has been an exceptional year for film.
