This haunting phantasmagoria from Peter Strickland, follows the surge of misfortunes afflicting customers who come into contact with a bewitched dress at an eerie department store. Starring Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Gwendoline Christie, produced by Andy Starke and Blue Bear Film and Television. IN FABRIC received its world premiere at TIFF, to rave reviews, and has since been picked up by A24 for North American distribution.
The executive producers on the film are Rose Garnett, Lizzie Francke, Phil Hunt, Compton Ross, Stephen Kelliher, Hilary Davis, Andrew Boswell, Ben Wheatley, and Ian Benson (Blue Bear). The movie was financed by BFI Film Fund, BBC Films, Head Gear Films, Metrol Technology, and Twickenham Studios.
IN FABRIC will have its UK Premiere at London Film Festival on the 18th and 19th October.
