Writer Emma Lennox’s brilliant GRIMM STREET has been produced as part of the Scottish Film Talent Network’s (SFTN) New Talent Shorts initiative.
GRIMM STREET is a funny but touching tall tale with a dark heart, that relishes in the disturbing undercurrents of those folk tales we all think we know. Rose Hawthorne believes that a dangerous force endangers all the teenagers in her street- or, is it just that her health is deteriorating and she’s not learned to accept it? Like Jimmy Stewart in REAR WINDOW, she’s got a lot of time on her hands, a great vantage point from her bedroom window, and a powerful imagination. But is that enough to keep the wolf from her door? Produced by Jill Pryde.
