Jonathan Pryce, Samantha Morton and Tom Felton are all set to star in the Welsh drama about a campaign to save a local cinema.
SAVE THE CINEMA is based on the true story of Liz Evans, a Carmarthen hairdresser and youth leader who spearheaded the campaign to save her local Lyric threatre from closure in 1993. Writer Piers Ashworth (Blithe Spirit, Fisherman’s Friends, St. Trinian’s) has adapted the story from a book by writer Lorraine King.
SAVE THE CINEMA is set to be released at the end of 2021.
