The Lehman Trilogy emerged as the biggest winner at this year’s Outer Critics Circle Awards, taking home six prizes.
The Lehman Trilogy, which began life at London’s National Theatre and is produced on Broadway with Neal Street Productions, won six awards including outstanding new Broadway play, outstanding director of a play for Sam Mendes and outstanding actor in a play for Simon Russell Beale.
The play’s lighting designer Jon Clark, sound designers Nick Powell and Dominic Bilkey and video designer Luke Halls were also named winners this year.
The awards are a precursor to this year’s Tony Awards for which The Lehman Trilogy, Company and Six have earned a combined total of 25 nominations.
