When handsome bandit Jack Cannon swaggers into a sleepy town in the Wild West, their explosive arrival inspires a gender revolution, and starts a fire under the petticoat of every one of the town’s repressed inhabitants.
COWBOIS, a “rollicking queer cowboy show”, has been announced as part of the RSC’s summer season for 2023. Written and co-directed by Charlie Josephine, the play is “part gun-slinging Western, part love story for our times”.
COWBOIS will run from 14 October to 18 November 2023 at the Swan Theatre.
