Despite flying under the radar at Sundance Film Festival and SXSW, Fremont has managed to get brilliant reviews and will officially get its global premiere at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
Directed by Babak Jalali and co-written by Carolina Cavalli, Fremont follows a lonely Afghan refugee who works at a fortune cookie factory in California after having served as a translator for US troops in Afghanistan.
