Congratulations to Heidi Thomas, creator and writer of Call the Midwife, on series 15 commencing filming! The new series will be co-produced with PBS, alongside the BBC and Neal Street, and preceded by a two-part Christmas Special, set in Hong Kong and Poplar.
We are also excited to share that a new prequel TV series based on the show is in development, set in Poplar during World War Two, for the BBC.
In even more exciting news, the BBC and Neal Street are producing a Call the Midwife feature film, set overseas in 1972, with characters from the existing show!
