We are thrilled to see such high praise for Matilda the Musical, directed by Agency client Matthew Warchus, which was released in UK Cinemas on the 25th of November, and Netflix US on the 9th of December.
Described by Independent as ‘a frothy, whimsical delight’, and ‘exuberant’ by The Telegraph, who gave the film 5 stars, there is no doubt that the new film adaptation of the iconic children’s book, and West End musical also directed by Warchus, has been a hit.
According to The Washington Post, Matilda the Musical certainly is divine, but the inspirational figures are all mortal: a director, Matthew Warchus; a star, Emma Thompson; and a cast of perpetually whirling child wonders who propel the story forward with kinetic enchantment.
