Campbell Books, part of Macmillan, has partnered with Monkey Music in a two book deal.
Monkey Music is a multi-award-winning company in pre-school music classes and was founded by musician and teacher Angie Coates over twenty years ago. There are now over 1,200 Monkey Music classes across the UK every week with more than 12,000 families attending. Research has shown the value of an early musical education and Monkey Music is now recognised as a ‘leading light’ in pre-school music education.
Let’s Play and Sing is illustrated by Emily Bolam, publishes on 14th July 2016 and is aimed at toddlers from 18 months. It also contains a 22 sing-along track CD with musical activities based from the Monkey Music classes. The books are based on the Heigh-ho and Jiggety-jig classes and can be used with or without knowledge of the Monkey Music curriculum. The second book, aimed for babies from 6-18 months, will be published in June 2017.
