Ridley Scott plans to direct the project for 20th Century Fox based on the epic Bat犀利士
tle of Britain, one of the most decisive battles in World War II history that saw the courageous British underdogs overcome Nazi titans.
The film will be written by Matthew Orton who also has a film in production, OPERATION FINALE, about the attempts to track down the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann.
Academy Award-nominated writer Matt Charman (BRIDGE OF SPIES) will executive produce.
Fox bought the project as a pitch last year, and Scott Free will produce with Safehouse’s Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell. Steve Asbell will oversee the project for Fox.
