Andrea Palmer-Gray is a writer and development producer, with a background in marketing as well as development/production at Rollout Pictures.
Andrea was born in Transylvania, Romania to a Hungarian-Romanian family (with a dash of Austrian and Polish thrown in) during the dying days of Communism. She moved to Hungary at the age of 6, then to London at 11, where she continues to live with her New Zealander husband, two children and spoilt pets.
Having started her career in marketing at Unilever, she went onto roles at Warner Bros. and Ealing Studios, before co-founding a production company, developing both features and television, with the likes of the BFI and Sky.
She’s co-created and is co-writing the original crime thriller Transylvanian Gothic for See-Saw Films, and working on several other original shows, which reveal her love of genre and set pieces, as much as complex protagonists.
