Anna Symon



Tanya Tillett

Anna graduated from the prestigious 4Screenwriting in 2013. Since then, she has been nominated for both BAFTA and Writer’s Guild awards. Prior to her writing career, she worked as a producer/ director in current affairs and documentaries.

Current projects:

THE ESSEX SERPENT (See Saw for Apple TV)
Currently in pre-production, a six part limited series, adaptation of Sarah Perry’s best-selling novel to be directed by Clio Barnard

HEATWAVE (Tiger Aspect for HBO)
Original limited series, about a transgressive relationship, set in Ibiza.

JOAN (Snowed In for BBC)
Original 8-part crime drama series with Ruth Wilson attached

Anna is also developing projects with production companies including World Productions, See Saw, Kudos, New Regency and Neal Street.
