About Christiana Brockbank

Christiana is a comedy writer from Bolton.

Since 2017, Christiana has been performing as her character ANNE CROWTHER, which won first prize at the 2017 Chorts Live! Event and has gone on to reach over 1 million views on TikTok and over 2.5 million views on Instagram. The character is currently in development with Anyway Productions. In 2022, Christiana was nominated for Funny Women’s Content Creator Award for her Anne Crowther videos.

Christiana won the BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy Award for her sitcom BINWOMEN, earning it a staged reading at the Edinburgh Festival with Aisling Bea, Katy Wix, Charlie Baker and Jamie Demetriou. BINWOMEN was subsequently developed with Balloon Entertainment.

Christiana has written for Radio 4’s NEWSJACK, been longlisted for the Caroline Aherne Bursary, and shortlisted for the David Nobbs Memorial Trust award.
