Cornelius is an Academy Award–nominated filmmaker working across film and high-end television. Most recently, he has built a strong track record in episodic drama, working as Second Unit Director on SUPACELL, and contributing across major productions including BRIDGETON and THE WITCHER. He also directed second unit and the opening sequence of Episode 2 on The Fear Index (Sky/Left Bank Pictures), after initially shadowing director David Caffrey.

Alongside his television work, Cornelius wrote the Academy Award–nominated documentary Black Sheep (2019), produced by The Guardian, which also received Grierson and IDA nominations. His directing credits include Talk (2022), funded by the BFI, as well as earlier work for Google Creative Labs and Fully Focused Productions.

His work is defined by emotionally grounded storytelling, cinematic ambition and a distinct contemporary voice emerging from the UK screen industry.
