Edward’s radio sitcom RELUCTANT PERSUADERS, ran for four series and starred starred Nigel Havers, Matthew Baynton and Josie Lawrence. It first aired on BBC Radio 4 in 2015 and won the 2016 BBC Audio Drama Award for Best Scripted Comedy (Live Audience). Between 2009 and 2013 he wrote and performed in the sketch group Frimston & Rowett, touring nationally, and taking three successful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Edward’s most recent project was writing and presenting JUST WILLIAM…AND RICHMAL, a radio documentary to mark the 100th anniversary of Richmal Crompton’s Just William series which interviewed writers and comedians about the books’ continuing influence on comic writing.
