Emilia is British Showrunner, Screenwriter, Playwright, Novelist, Journalist and Executive Producer of Anglo-Indian and Italian heritage. She has PHD in the rehabilitation of offenders using drama-based techniques and a First in Drama from Middlesex University. She has lectured in Creative Writing and Writing for Performance at University level, and also has also worked extensively in prisons throughout the United Kingdom. She has written for The Guardian, The Times and various women’s and literary magazines.
Most recently Emilia was the creator, lead writer and executive producer of Montreal based detective series THREE PINES for Amazon starring Alfred Molina. Prior to that, Emilia wrote and executive produced a 4-part true crime drama DECEIT for C4, the story of the female undercover officer who honey trapped an innocent man in the Rachel Nickell murder enquiry. Emilia was also the lead writer and showrunner of Series 3 of THE TUNNEL for SKY and LAW & ORDER UK for ITV.
