Emily is a winner of a prestigious Fringe First Award for her plays ‘Bobby and Amy’ and ‘Rainbow’. She has since worked with Paines Plough, the Traverse Theatre, RADA and attended the Royal Court Young Writer’s and Studio writers programmes.
Her play Cookies, was performed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket directed by Anna Ledwich. It was commissioned by Masterclass and Theatre Royal Haymarket to examine the cyber lives of young people. A film of the play can be found at http://masterclass.org.uk/view/cookies-the-film.
She has recently been under commission for Paines Plough for their Summer 2019 season and her play, Dark Matter, commissioned by Paine’s Plough for their Come to Where I’m From initiative, can now be heard on the Paine’s Plough ‘Come to Where I’m From’ app.
