Emily hails from London and studied screenwriting at FAMU International in Prague. She was selected for the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course in 2014, and her TV Pilot AUTUMN topped the inaugural TV Brit List in 2018. She is currently developing a range of original TV and Film projects, and has previously worked with Mam Tor, World Productions, Motive Pictures, and Playground, amongst many others.  Emily has developed feature projects with UK writer-directors Claire Oakley and Eva Riley commissioned by the BFI and BBC Films respectively and twice collaborated with the writer/creator Tony Grisoni.  Emily recently wrote two episodes on DOWN CEMETERY ROAD (60Forty/Apple) and co-wrote an episode of THE UNDECLARED WAR Season 2 (C4/Peacock). Current projects in development include an original vampire film for Escape Plan Productions (SAINT MAUD, LOVE LIES BLEEDING), an original drama feature for Motor Productions, directed by Louise Friedberg, and an original drama series for BBC Studios, Mam Tor and Scott Free. Her pilot MIRI was optioned by Vendôme Productions (CODA) in the US.
