Eva Edo is an award-winning Black British writer of Nigerian and Caribbean descent whose work is coloured by her lived experience as a child protection and family law solicitor, together with being a mother. Her play “A MOTHER’S COURAGE” won the Royal Society of Literature Matters Award. “LOOKED AFTER CHILDREN” was nominated for The Alfred Fagon Award. Her short film script “MATERNAL” won the Lucy Scher Award.
Eva started her career within theatre and has expanded it to TV and film. She recently participated in the BBC SCRIPTED and THE DUMPING GROUND SHADOW SCHEME, alongside developing projects for TV, Film, and Theatre.
