Eva is a screen and stage writer who tells stories which celebrate women and young people. Her work’s coloured by her lived experience as a child protection lawyer and mother.
Eva is an alumna of writers labs at Soho Theatre, Criterion Theatre, Young Vic and High Tide. Eva won the Royal Society of Literature Matters Award 2020 to develop “A Mother’s Courage” http://bit.ly/RSL_LMA2020
Her play LOOKED AFTER CHILDREN was shortlisted for The Alfred Fagon Best New Play Award 2015. In 2019 Eva was commissioned by Routes Collective to write “I am Women” a verbatim inspired celebratory piece with refugee and asylum experienced women. In 2020 Eva wrote “Parched” for the BA Acting and Theatre Making degree at University of West London. In 2022 Open Clasp Theatre trained Eva in their methodology and she co-created “Cake and Condoms” with a group of women who support sex workers through the Changing Lives charity.
