About Adam Howes & Harry Davies

Adam and Harry are a writing duo based in North Shropshire and London whose projects straddle a range
of genres from comedy and drama to dark thrillers and psychological horror.

Their debut short as writer-producers, satirical comedy The Contract, starred Harry Enfield, Dan Snow
and Max Brown. The screenplay for the short was a finalist at The British Short Film Awards in 2022.
Their follow-up, World War II short Foxhole, was directed by Tom Brittney. It is now on the festival
circuit and has garnered a number of awards, including Best Screenplay.

The duo are currently developing a six-part returning series with Hat Trick and Ian Puleston-Davies, and
are in advanced talks with producers to develop their real-life medical thriller, A Shot in the Dark.
Another of their projects, espionage thriller series Berlin, has recently been under option with
Clapperboard Studios.

In the world of comedy, their sitcom, Cinnamon Empire, is under option with Robson Green’s production
company, Rivers Meet, while their horror-comedy pilot, The Executors, has previously been optioned by
King Bert. The script is now being adapted into a feature.

As well as their spec scripts, they have been hired to write on multiple projects including biographical
period drama Iron Ribbon (which is set to shoot next year with actors Tom Hughes and Sarah Gadon
attached) and noir thriller Matryoshka (which is currently in development in Poland). They also have
several of their own feature projects in development including Famous, a taut and timely psychological
thriller inspired by the Britney Spears conservatorship scandal; The Lodger, a suspenseful and darkly
funny horror-thriller; and The Last Deliverance, the extraordinary true story of the last exorcism ever
carried out by the Anglican Church
