Harry is a filmmaker, writer and actor from Leicester.

In 2015, he wrote, directed, produced and starred in the micro-budget HINTERLAND, which was released by Curzon Cinemas. It was nominated for several awards including ‘Best Debut Film’ at the Beijing International Film Festival.

His second feature as a writer/director, SUPERNOVA, starred Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci. It was produced by Emily Morgan and Tristan Goligher with backing from the BBC, BFI and Studio Canal. The film was short-listed for two BAFTA Awards including ‘Outstanding British Film’ and as ‘Best Film’ at the European Film Awards in 2021. In 2022 it was voted one of the ‘Best British Films of the 21st Century’ by critics.

Harry is currently developing the features FALLEN LEAVES with Desmar Productions, A LIFE’S MUSIC with writer Will Boyd and producer Jasmin Moradian, and has written THE PRINCE RUPERT HOTEL for Submarine and producer Guy Heeley.

He is writing the stage adaptation of SUPERNOVA, which will premiere in 2027 at Pitlochry Festival Theatre starring Ewan McGregor and Alan Cumming.

Harry has also co-written the TV comedy show THE OUTPOST with writer David Houston.

He was the 2018 recipient of the ‘Wellcome Trust Broadcast Award’. In 2024, he was the recipient of the Derek Jarman Residency as chosen by Tilda Swinton and Tacita Dean.
