Isla is an alumnus of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme where her work was performed in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, directed by Lyndsey Turner. For theatre, she has been shortlisted for the Old Vic 24 Hour Plays, Old Vic 12 and the South West New Writing Initiative. Her play, Ex Vivo, was long-listed for Soho Theatre’s Verity Bargate Award.

Isla was most recently an Associate Producer and Core Writer on BBC’s CASUALTY. Her other TV credits include HOLBY CITY, THE CUT and HOLLYOAKS.
