Isla is an experienced screenwriter for television drama and a playwright. She is currently a core writer and Associate Producer for Casualty (BBC), having previously written for Holby City (BBC 1), amongst others. For theatre, Isla is an alumnus of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme where her work was performed in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs. She has been shortlisted for the Old Vic 24 Hour Plays, Old Vic 12 and the South West New Writing Initiative, as well as long-listed for Soho Theatre’s Verity Bargate Award.
