Justin Molotnikov

About Justin Molotnikov

Justin has over 25 years experience as a director of high-end, award-winning TV and film. He has worked for a large range of international broadcasters, film bodies and production companies as well as collaborating with some of the most respected showrunners, producers and high-end on-screen talent in the industry. His recent credits include Sanctuary for AMC, Outlander for STARZ, Poldark for BBC and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man for Sky Atlantic. Other global brands he has helmed over his career are Doctor Who, Merlin, Da Vinci’s Demons, Atlantis, Taggart, Shameless and My Parents Are Aliens. His film work includes the BAFTA winning and theatrically released feature film, ‘Crying with Laughter’, which he wrote and directed himself along with earlier, award-winning short films. He also directed an adaptation of Susan Hill’s The Small Hand. He is currently penning a returnable crime-drama series with writing partner Daniel Hesford.
