Kate is an experienced showrunner with multiple original series to her name alongside numerous contributing credits. She is currently writing the second series of crime drama BLACK SHORE for RTE produced by BBC Studios, ahead of the release of the first series.

Kate’s original series SMOTHER ran for three series on RTE. Lead actress won the 2021 IFTA Award for Best Actress and the series was nominated in a further 20 categories between 2021-2023. The series won an RTS award in 2022.

Kate is also an award-winning novelist.
