About Lucy Gannon

Lucy was awarded an MBE for services to television drama in 1997. In 2000 she received the Women In Film and Television ‘Contribution to the Medium’ Award. In 2013 she won an RTS WofE award for Best Writer: Drama, Factual or Entertainment.

Lucy is also the author of several books including her memoir, THE AMAZINGLY ASTONISHING STORY, which Dawn French described as “The saddest happiest funniest book I’ve read for ages…”.
