Lucy was awarded an MBE for services to television drama in 1997. In 2000 she received the Women In Film and Television ‘Contribution to the Medium’ Award. In 2013 she won an RTS WofE award for Best Writer: Drama, Factual or Entertainment. She currently has a  pilot in development with Tall Story Pictures.
