Lydia is a writer for film, television and theatre. Prior to that, she worked as a newspaper journalist for the Financial Times. FIXER, her first full-length play, opened at the 2009 HighTide Festival in Suffolk. It was revived at Oval House in 2011 and is published by Nick Hern Books. Her second, COMPLIANCE, was written while she was Pearson playwright in residence at Paines Plough, and won the Catherine Johnson award for Best Play. Other work includes CALCULATING KINDNESS, which opened at Camden People’s Theatre in 2016. She has previously been on attachment to the National Theatre and the Royal Cort.
