Marcelo is an award winning, British/Brazilian/Australian writer. In 2014 he adapted the critically acclaimed LIONBOY for Complicité which toured extensively in the UK and internationally including the New Victory Theater on Broadway. He has developed work through the National Theatre Studio and has been a writer on attachment at the Bush Theatre, HighTide Festival Theatre as well as the Royal Court where he was also a member of their writing ‘super group’.
Marcelo is currently a member of the BBC Drama Room 2019/20.
