Shortly after graduating from Oxford University with a first-class degree in History, Matt participated in the prestigious Guiding Lights feature programme, mentored by Matt Charman, and was named a ‘Star of Tomorrow’ by Screen International.  His early feature scripts featured on the Brit List and the Black List.

In 2015, Matt sold a spec screenplay to MGM about the capture of the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann. This script was produced and then released in 2018 as the feature OPERATION FINALE, directed by Chris Weitz and with a cast led by Oscar Isaac and Sir Ben Kingsley.

In 2022, Matt provided consulting producer services across Marvel’s TV series MOON KNIGHT, also penning one episode.  2023 saw the release of Matt’s own 5-part TV series DEVIL’S PEAK, based on Deon Meyer’s acclaimed Benny Griessel novels, and produced by Lookout Point/Expanded Media for MNET.

Matt’s past screen developments include work for the BBC, ITV, Netflix, Disney, Fox, Universal and Warners.  He’s worked with leading production companies on both sides of the pond such as Element, House and 21 Laps, and with award-winning directors such as Ridley Scott.
