Minkie is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked across some of the biggest premium and industry defining series. She worked to launch the incredibly successful series ALL HER FAULT which was one of the most popular series to date. Following that success she also directed and executive produced the series THE FIVE STAR WEEKEND. This show generated over one billion viewing minutes in its first week, becoming Peacock’s most successful scripted series ever. Prior to this, she has directed Netflix’s THREE BODY PROBLEM, and directed and executive produced all 8 episodes of Netflix’s PIECES OF HER. Previously, she directed the first three episodes of THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, the HBO mini-series from David Simon & Ed Burns based on the Philip Roth novel. Prior to this she directed the NBC pilot THE VILLAGE, which airs this spring, as well as Aaron Zelman’s Hulu pilot CRASH & BURN. Her episodic work includes FOSSE/VERDON (FX), BARRY (HBO), THE DEUCE (HBO), KIDDING (Showtime), BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC), LODGE 49 (AMC), JESSICA JONES (Netflix), and ONE MISSISSIPPI (Amazon). Before she dove into US directing, Minkie spent two seasons on DOWNTON ABBEY, directing the 2014 two-hour Christmas Day Special. Her UK credits also include CALL THE MIDWIFE, SKINS, and HOLBY CITY, for which she received a BAFTA nomination.
