Paul Theroux is an American travel writer and novelist. His most recent novel BURMA SAHIB was published in 2024 and follows the early life of George Orwell in his Burmese Days.

Most notably, his novel THE MOSQUITO COAST was adapted into a successful TV series for Apple TV.
