She began her career in theatre as a Script Associate for the Royal Court, and writing plays for the Royal Court Young People’s Theatre, Lewisham Youth Theatre and Peckham Youth Theatre. Prior to writing on River City she worked for ITV in Carlton and LWT comedy departments as a Development Executive.
