Rachel graduated with a MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Anglia Ruskin.
Rachel also has a degree in Textiles and Fashion from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design as well as a PGCE from The University of Cambridge. For the past 16 years she has led a department teaching Art, Design and Photography at Secondary level.
Rachel’s first book Into the Forest was published by Scholastic UK.

Rachel has been shortlisted for The World Illustration Awards, Children’s Books Category, New Talent – and longlisted for the annual Book Illustration Competition run by The Folio Society and The House of Illustration. Into the Forest has been exhibited at Somerset House.
