Simon Ashdown is currently developing original projects and adaptations with multiple producers including Kudos, The Forge, Lookout point, Blueprint Pictures and STV. He wrote and co-created the BAFTA nominated series FUNLAND and was lead writer and Series Consultant on EASTENDERS from 2007-2015, for which he received 4 BAFTA awards, 3 RTS awards and the BANFF International Television festival award for best drama serial. In 2012, he received the Special Achievement Award for his Outstanding Contribution at the British Soap awards. He has also worked as a story consultant on both drama and comedy series.
