Simon is a writer and actor living in between London and Yorkshire.
Simon was the winner of the inaugural Masterclass ‘Pitch Your Play’ award in 2013 with his first play The Undone Years. The Undone Years received an industry reading on the main stage at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and starred Juliet Stevenson, Christopher Ecclestone and Phoebe Fox. He has since developed the stage play into a screenplay, Skylark Ridge. Other theatre credits include The Cally (at the Park Theatre for Park Scratchings) and an industry reading of Set Fire to the Sea (Criterion).
His first commissioned feature film, King Arthur and the Knights of Camelot, will be released by Signature Entertainment onto Netflix in autumn 2020.
As an actor Simon has just played a leading role and first cover Frank Farmer in the Number One International Tour of The Bodyguard. He played Ronnie Kray in the hit films Rise of the Krays and Fall of the Krays. Fall of the Krays won ‘Best Independent Feature’ at The 2017 National Film Awards. He has also recently filmed roles in Hanna, Outlander, and Emmerdale and was an original cast member of Action to the Word’s A Clockwork Orange, which had two sell out off West End runs.
