Sophie is a children’s writer and librarian with a degree in Zoology and an interest in folklore.

Sophie’s middle grade detective series, Potkin and Stubbs, beautifully illustrated by Karl J Mountford, was published by Piccadilly Press. The series includes titles Potkin and Stubbs, The Haunting of Peligan City and Ghostcatcher.

Sophie’s stories have been previously shortlisted for the Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition and shortlisted for the Bath Children’s Novel Award.
