Tim Foley is an award-winning writer for theatre and audio drama based in Manchester.
His play Electric Rosary was the winner of the Bruntwood Prize Judges’ Award and premiered at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. Other theatre credits include It Walks Around The House At Night (Southwark Playhouse/UK Tour); Jurassic (Soho Theatre); Driftwood (Village Hall tour/UK tour); Astronauts of Hartlepool (VAULT Festival); The Dogs of War (Old Red Lion Theatre). He won the OffWestEnd award for Most Promising New Playwright.
Tim has been on attachment and development schemes with the Old Vic 12, National Theatre Studio, HighTide, The Orange Tree, and Soho Theatre. He was the Channel 4 Writer-in-Residence for Pentabus Theatre.
Tim writes audio drama set in the worlds of Doctor Who for Big Finish Productions. His BBC radio drama, Murder On Mars, was nominated for several awards and his original podcast, North West Footwear Database, was featured on BBC Radio 4 Extra. Tim is also the script editor of Stage Fright, a new video game by Ghost Town Games (creators of Overcooked).
