Will Hill is a novelist and screenwriter who worked in publishing before quitting to write his first novel.  “After The Fire” won The Bookseller’s YA Book Prize 2018 at the Hay Festival and it was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal. It was a Zoella Book Club selection, is a 2018 World Book Night selection, and has been nominated/shortlisted for multiple other awards. His series “Department 19” was a bestseller in the UK, and has been translated into ten languages.

Will is currently in a writers’ room with Big Light for a new drama series, and has developed an original idea (co-created with James Smythe) with Tall Story Productions.
