KEN by Terry Johnson opens tonight at Hampstead Downstairs

Theatre

A new play written by and starring Olivier and Tony Award-winner Terry Johnson. KEN is a free-wheeling reminiscence of Terry’s relationship with the late great Ken Campbell.

“Hampstead Theatre’s Downstairs studio is a review-free try-out space. so I can’t tell you what I thought of Terry Johnson’s “Ken”. No, I can never tell you whether I reckoned it’s utterly wonderful, and at once glorious and poignant memoir of what made Ken Campbell a supreme, bonkers genius.  You’ll have to guess whether I think you should all hie you to NW3 and watch Terry and Jeremy Stockwell in a heart-stirring two-hander.  Sorry.” – Ian Shuttleworth

On from the 7th April – 7th May.
